I'm quite surprised Xanadu isn't winning. One of Rush's best songs, by far the better of the two.

The instrumental intro to Cygnus is among my fav Rush moments, but the remainder of the song doesn't match it. Xanadu is good all the way through but I got tired of it years ago. Hmm. Going with Cyggie.

Xanadu for me.
I suppose as an astrophysicist who carried out research into black holes, I should vote Cygnus X1, but it's just a bit - well, pretentious for me.

Cygnus X1.
But only just and because I prefer the ESL version of Xanadu to the original.

I much prefer Xanadu, especially after hearing it live back in the early 80's such an amazing song and soundscapes. The drumming/percussion playing is brilliant and I really like the up and down feeling of the song, the slowing tempo parts.

Just the two "epics" from A Farewell to Kings. Feel free to mention if you'd prefer a different song from the same album as well, such as the title track or Madrigal.
I'll be going for Cygnus X-1. Very complex (especially with the 11/8 bits), atmospheric, spacey and even spooky! I also love the "...APART!" scream at the very end
