I've been checking out a bunch of these links. A lot of the post-rock/post-metal type of Prog is killer musically. But I hate this thing of having no singer! Ha! I've run across a few with vocalists, and I love those...but when I see no singer listed, it's disappointing.

Interesting point, Athanasios. I guess if an artist offers a name your price without a minimum spend (which they can do), they are offering it for free but inviting donations if the downloader feels they want to. For example, where there is also a physical offering, I will download for free ($0) and either keep the album and buy the CD/tape, or delete if I don't enjoy. Download-only albums I only occasionally contribute to, but that's my choice.  I contribute a small fortune monthly to musicians without chipping in a few pounds that will get swallowed up by Paypal fees.

There's loads of psych prog around that's going for free, although symph is a bit thinner on the ground.
In terms of recent links on here, there's plenty of pysch and space on the couple of pages just before your post (and more further back in this thread) so you don't need to look too hard.  Ga'an http://recordsonribs.com/download/gaan/skip/ is psychy zeuhl if you fancy something different and colourful, while Black Science http://blacksciencemusic.bandcamp.com/album/cosmodemonic-beyond is more heavy psych. There's also a bit of kraut going for free including Magdalena Solis http://archive.org/details/Lady_of_the_Wild_Things-8730 and Hisko Detria http://hiskodetria.bandcamp.com/ .
Karda Estra have a free compilation album out if you enjoy less rocking symph - http://kardaestra.bandcamp.com/album/an-introduction-to-karda-estra-free-album (great band by the way) and Rain have a symph rock concept album for free here - http://www.telosmusic.net/

Could anyone point me in the way of some?

Peace :)

Almost everybody knows that all (but one) Senmuth's albums are downloadble for free from www.senmuth.com.

However this is the anticipation of his first release of 2013

I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

You can also but a limited CD of this album at the website at http://shop.syncromind-project.com/ for EUR 15,00. All revenue from each CD sold goes to help the family of a little autistic boy in Norfolk, USA who suffers from a neuroblastoma. Makes the CD great value in my book Wink
