Remember the tories would not have done anything at all when we went into financial meltdown, and more people would be bankrupt and out of work if they had been in power. Also unemployment would have been worse than 1 in 10. And the worst affected would have been small business people who are now going to vote for they upper class twits that are the tory party...talk about turkeys voting for xmas....i hope they all rot to hell. |
My comment about Gordon Brown was a joke - I'm aware of his real name, but it would be much cooler to have James Brown as PM.
Regarding your second paragraph, how do you know all this? I'm no great fan of any party, just tell us a few good things that Labour have done for us. |
NuLab done three good things. They gave us..
Robin Cook (deceased)
Mo Mowlem (Deceased)
Tony Banks (not the Tony Banks) - (Deceased)
They were the last bastions of common sense within the party. With these meddling lefties out of the way, NuLab have been able to get on with the job of destroying the country.
There was of course the minimum wage, which has been undercut anyway by unscrupulous employers, taking advantage of NuLabs shambolic lack of immigration control, and exploiting desparate new comers to our shores. There was increased social mobility, with 50% of kids now being shoe horned into university, saddled with huge debts, only to emerge into one of the most aggressive and competitive job markets ever seen. The poor buggers have gone through a school system, that forbids competition, and any negative feedback, only to find themselves in the real world, where they will face rejection at every turn.
Then there was the illegal invasion of Iraq...and the state sponsored murder of Dr David Kelly. 17,000 applications for assylum 'lost in the system' and the biggest gap between the richest and poorest in 40 years. I could go on, but I should probably make some dinner now.
Edit: Before anyone jumps on me, Im NOT suggesting the three Labour MP's I mentioned were 'bumped off'

Well, if you want to see examples of turkeys voting for Xmas, you should visit the South of the USA. There, it seems that the poorer you are, the more you are likely to vote for those who are doing their best to keep you that way. Not to mention what my own fellow countrymen and -women have been doing for years when believing Berlusconi's lies.

Still, I've spend quite a lot time last, let's say four years on these comics. And it wasn't wasted time for me.
Checked, know, not bad, not good. Everything in this way (sites you've said, I've saidis simply twisted. Unfunny mostly, sometimes funny (everyone understands joke differently).
It's good to know that we can find calm haven in these rough waters of "internets".

Oh, how innocent I was when I thought 4chan and ED were the worst things on the internet...And ED are giant trolls, you can't take their hatred of trolls seriously. Try reading some of the Weekend Web on Something Awful. Eka's Portal will blow your mind. It's all real (well, most of it, some of it is out of context/trolls), and I don't know if it's the worst thing on the internet, but it's far worse than average the callous, lazy, stupid, unfunny /b/tard who's only posting the horrible things for a laugh. And /b/ is a lot less horrifying than it used to be in the old days, now that all the cool kids want to hang out at the worst place on the internet they can't get away with nearly as much crap as they used to. Not that I know from personal experience, but 4chan is now one of the largest websites around so it stands to reason.
Ctr-Alt-Delete is one of the worst, laziest webcomics to ever waste bandwidth space.

That's standard practice for Vodafone. We bought a pay as you go phone for my son when he started going to school on his own, just for emergencies. Obviously he doesn't need to use it much. This is their way of getting back numbers that aren't in use.

The worse thing is that Vodafone is Number 3rd in our country. So other two, O2 & T-Mobile respectively are even worse. I remember, when I had just Oskar (predecessor to Vodafone) back in 2000-2004 (at least I think), it was underdog operator, but was the best. Because of that I think.
For example O2 mobile internet connection, they had charging per 10 seconds, so for example your IM client in mobile phone connected to internet, downloaded statuses and that was all. Or your email-client. Now, if you connect, they take this for 10 minutes. So if you're on the internet for let's say 30 seconds, you pay as you were there 10 minutes. And they haven't even feel the need to tell people, except some hidden bulletin on their pages.

I just received a text from Vodafone which says "Congratulations, to say thank you for being a Vodafone customer we are giving £1 free credit. Just text "REWARD to this number".
Well, not overly generous but a pound is a pound so I did as they said and got a text back -
"Sorry you are not eligible for this offer"
WTF? |
I haven't recharged my credit in almost a 1.5 years, I use mobile phone just for receiving sms's and calls (I send sms's from internet), BUT guess what was in message I get on 24.12.2009 (Christmas Eve, giving presents in Czech Republic, carp and potato salad, customs etc, simply for many the best day). SMS from Vodafone: Dear customer, you have to recharge your credit till 31.12.2009, or your account will be blocked.
I took this as an Gift + Happy New Year from Vodafone

Dear Mr Blacksword....i definitely agree with you......regardless which party you're gonna vote for, each are as bad as each other........at least you don't have the SNP worrying the sheep where you are.
However i stand by the statement...do not trust Cameron on the NHS.....holy christ we're heading towards paying insurance.........and i still state he is the worst, personalityless leader of any party this country has ever seen................air brushing just made it worse.
Thank god (or whoever floats your boat) for freedom of speech.

And I'm glad I know about them. It's like some epic journey, you have to be strong to withstand all dangers that you may encounter to get some gold as a result. Not sure it's worth of it.
However, comics like TheNoobComic Ctrl+Alt+Delete Penny Arcade Duelling Analogs (some of it) VG Cats (also, some of it) 8bit Theatre
aren't so bad.
Damn, I feel like frightened parent trying to understand the fact that his kids are actually watching porn.

I agree. I simply can't stomach 4chan or Encyclopedia Dramtica, they are just too over-the-top and offensive for me. Some parts of the Internet are better off not being visited.

More people voted at the last X Factor final than at the last General Election. That just about sums it up.

So, basically you're saying 'better the devil you know' with regard to NuLab vs Tories..
Well, I have some sympathy for that view, but our democratic electoral system allows us to vote out one shower when they cock up, and vote in another bunch of clowns. I think there is a bigger picture. Many think that by voting for Cameron, they will be kicking Nulab in the nuts and teaching them a jolly good lesson, for having messed the country up so much. But, I believe that all of these crooks are part of the same club, and deep down it doesn't really matter that much to Brown if he loses the next election. His Knighthood is secure, as is the publication of his memoirs. He got the PM job after Bliar, which was his ultimate ambition. The country can now go and hang. Long gone are the days when Labour MP's climbed out of coal mines, and factories and nobely struck political blows for the common man. All of these self serving &rseholes went to same schools, drink in the same big boys clubs, share the same beds with Russian billionaires and bent bankers. Their foreign policy is determined in Washington and Tel Aviv, and between them they dont possess a single pair of bollox.
I used to think that hell would freeze over before I voted conservative, but that was when Labour were to the left and the Tories were to the right. Both parties now occupy an ill defined murky middle ground; charcterised by an apparent need to please everyone, while really just feathering their own nests, and actually p!ssing everyone off.
I'll wager that the turn out at the next election will be the lowest in British political history. People are waking up to the fact that their elected leaders dont understand them or care about them. In return voters dont care about politics. Sounds like a fair deal, until you consider the reality, that voter apathy is good news for any governing party. They can bulldoze through the most horrible legislation, and their alienated electorate will not even so much as look up from 'Strictly come dancing' or X Factor.

Yes Labour have made a complete bollocks of it, that's why they have to go. How do you know Cameron will be "the worst pm in waiting ever"?
And you're forgetting that our PM has also changed his name.
