not bad, but nothing special.
It's probably another charity shop bargain bin album then. Smile

it's cute that you think you can find Jane albums in bargain bins.

Listening right now to Werner Nadolny's Jane - 2011 - Eternity. This one is pretty good.
You're right. In reality, there's absolutely no chance of me ever finding a rare Jane album in a charity shop, or any other shop, come to think of it. By pure coincidence, I'm listening to Jane's 1982 Germania album right now, so I'll post the rating and album link later on today. Smile

Yes, a positive 3-star rating from me means I'd buy it from a  bargain bin in a charity shop for £1. Smile

I see. But IMO the descriptions are pretty vague.

not accept it, but listen to it. I've listened to bad albums, because sometimes I am a completionist. Also sometimes my curiosity gets the worst of me. Thanks God for the internet, at least i know what not to buy. LOL

Werner Nadolny's Jane - 2014 - Journey I (Best Of Jane '70-'80)
This album is a compilation of classic jane re-worked, re-recorded. Kinda unnecessary, but well executed and performed.

I'm listening now to their 2002 album called Genuine. Pretty decent. I'm gonna listen some more post 2000s Jane. There are various line-ups, I listened long ago, let's see what I remember.

There is also a poorly rated album in 1996, I'm gonna check it out and remember why (I think I listened long ago). The rating is probably deserved.
I'm listening to Jane's self-titled 1980 album right now and I can hear a definite drop in quality from their classic 1970's album. From what you've said, I have a feeling it's not going to get any better throughout the rest of the 1980's, but at least I still have Jane's 21st century albums to look forward to. Smile

Peter Panka's Jane - 1996 - Resurrection
poor, almost amateurish, avoid! Poor rating deserved.

Just speaking out of what you've shown. I guess it's better to be ignored than mocked or insulted.

Good luck with the rest of Jane's discography then. I only gave you a fair warning.

Oh dear. It sounds like Jane went  downhill fast in the 80's in the same way as many other classic prog bands I could mention, such as Genesis, Golden Earring & King Crimson, to name just three. Anyway, thanks for the warning. Smile

they did 2 albums in the 80s that are hard rock and not even that interesting IMO, one pop album in 1986, oh dear...
Maybe their post 2000s work might get you interested, at least they are decent there.
Jane had a run of nine great albums in a row in the 1970's, so it may have been too much too ask for them to keep up to that same high standard throughout the 1980's. Smile

Anyway, I'm glad I've found a band we both like. Thumbs Up

It's not about keeping a high standard, I wasn't thinking about that at all, just that in my opinion (obviously), the songwriting dropped in quality after the 70s.
I will always enjoy the 8 studio albums of the 70s, but that's all for me. I don't know why I wrote here, you're gonna ignore me anyway. Ouch
