What a final game for Candlestick! Glad the Niners did win, and cool it ended with the epic INT TD by Bowman, a Penn Stater from my time there :D
Also, Niners are pretty much back to health...at the best possible time. Most teams have to fight through injuries, they are gunna enter the playoffs with their full roster. Still think Seattle is clearly better (and the best in NFC) but San Fran may make it interesting.

That onside kick was amazing and one that you might see once a year. Too bad it amounted to nothing, though. Otherwise, that would've been one of the greatest comebacks of the season.

Yeah, that end was a bit piss. But I didn't expect a game from the falcons. Still a top notch on side kick though.

Dammit. The Falcons came so close to upsetting the Niners and a tipped pass lead to a pick six to close it out.

Well I would be shocked if they lost.....Atlanta is a swirling pot of horridness this year. The O line is terrible, can't block anything.
The 49ers are slowly moving up my chart as the team to beat.....If Colin K starts to hit a stride, look out!! They can easily walk into Seattle and beat them.

I would love nothing more than to see the Niners lose at home in the final game at Candlestick. I honestly didn't really mind the team before Colin Kaepernick came along. Now I can't stand them.

Well that's boring. Although, it would be great to see the Eagles lose now. Not only is the team inferior, but it would put more blame on Romo for constant losses in December. |

^ On a rare occassion, I was pulling for the Cowboys to win yesterday only to get a bonus play off (play in) game against the Eagles. Now to watch them fail in the waning seconds this upcoming Sunday...
Somehow the Stillers are still alive, but they have to win and 3 others have to lose...not much hope.
PS - I feel for the Lions fans...it was in their grasp but shot themselves in the foot again.

^ Amen! It almost feels like it can't be the end of the regular season without the 'Boys trying to eek their way into the playoffs at this point.

NFC North, do none of you want to win this division? As they say over here in the UK, after you Claude.
Lions - a dismal loss in the way they seem to make a habit of. I'll repeat what I said last week, I can't believe a team with so much potential has imploded so badly. Don't worry Scott/Mills Layne they must surely put it together next season. Packers - pitifully feeble defense, 38 points conceded at home? Really. That was terrible and they are very lucky to get another shot next week. Bears - the toughest task of any of the 3 but that total blowout was not what I expected. Kudos to the Eagles, they are starting to fly (pun intended). I'm thinking the Bears will probably have too much for the Pack next week. I reckon the best chance the Packers have is to get Rodgers out there one way or the other and try and turn it into a shootout as the Bears are fairly certain to score on each possession given the porous Packer defense. At this point I'd send him out in a wheelchair if need be. Edited by Roj - December 23 2013 at 02:42 |

Silver lining Lions fans...new regime will come in. Of course, it could always be worse but JS wasn't taking you guys anywhere. Also LOL Bears, thanks for not playing tonight...it made the game something to watch.
I'm quite excited that the Eagles Cowboys game will be the final game of the season. Hopefully this will be 3 years in a row that the 'Boys blow it to a different NFC east opponent. |

Yeah but hey, better to have love and lost...as they say.
Besides, it's gotta be better than the usual. This season has been hell for me, having to enjoy wins just for the sake/hope to beat rivals or spoil others (sorry). I'd rather have hope than crap. Here's to 2014! We'll need the help, Nick Foles is the real deal it appears. I miss the VIck/Barkley combo

That's what makes this season the most disappointing in recent memory. We had a shot at the division, something we haven't had in 20 years, and for the season to completely fall apart like this. All I know is that Schwartz and Linehan need to be fired tomorrow. Cunningham did an okay job with the defense this year, so maybe he gets another year. I just want heads to roll over this. |

Both my teams (Saints, Hawks) failing today.....Saints worse though, can't win on the road. Hawks need to fix the D penalties, killed them this game.
From here on out almost have to play flawless to make the SB.

I dont even know what to say.
That game was uglier than sin itself. I guess I'm "happy" with that win? I dont even know anymore. W is a W, and at least this was kinda almost impressive? OK not really, but I'll take it. Sorry Scott and Mills, that is rough. At least you were in the running to make the playoffs, we've had a pointless season since week 6. Here's to progression in 2014 for us both
