Spain recieved a valid goal by Paraguay... and they don't have Klose and Podolsky... it will be nice, History will be wrote well this time around...

Yeah, I want The Netherlands to be champions, but if they go against Germany in the finals it will be very tough for them.

I hope I'm not cursing them (I did predict Brazil would triumph) but I really hope Uruguay win now. It would be amazing for a country of three million to lift the trophy and unlike the brave but negative Paraguay they are actually good to watch.

Having said all that Germany seem to be obviously the best team so they are probably favourites.

I hope Spain thrash Germany and I don't even like Spain!

I am hoping Uruguay thrash the Netherlands but that won't happen without Suárez, however good Forlán is.  If they can sneak a win without him then he hopefully will be back for the final where they'll beat Spain. Big smile

And I missed the end of the Paraguay vs. Spain game.  I saw the two penalties and then had to go out.  That was amazing though!

By the way, Paraguay should have been asked to retake that penalty.

Yes, Chris, hats off to Paraguay.  Spain played well and looked pretty but never had many real chances.  Germany should dismantle them.

After witnessing the end of the Ghana-Uruguay match, I thought I would be hard pressed to see that kind of drama again but the proceedings in the 2nd half of Paraguay-Spain may have been even more crazy.
