It is indeed very good and I'd say the same thing. ClapClapClap

Koenji is easily my second favorite Zeuhl band, and one of my favorites in RIO/Avant/Zeuhl combined. Whether I prefer them or Samla Mammas Manna though... that's hard.

Yes, get Nivraym!!! Tongue

But really, any of them is a good choice. Clap

I might wait a bit re. Koenji - see below!  Damn, too many things to get! Confused

I adore Area - the best is Arbeit Macht Frei imo, 2nd: Caution Radiation Area, #3: Crac!

Got all 3 and am adoring them muchly myself! Clap  Area now holds the (coveted?) no. 2 spot in my recent most listened artists. Big%20smile

one of my beloveds zeuhl titles is Dun - Eros. Eskaton's 4 Visions is sublime, but o.p. - ask here, I'm sure someone would be happy to send you an mp3 [mine's packed]

Dün
= Heart.  Hmm, I would love to hear 4 Visions of course, but where's the fun in glibly passing mp3s around?!  I'll have to go on one of my little quests for a 2nd hand copy. Smile

Thanks for the other suggestions too, Cleo! Thumbs%20Up

I've heard that name and I think I heard some samples that I liked.  Ooh, 'Contact' is on special at Wayside... could be a contender!  Although maybe I should go for 'Toscco' as recommended by Cleo... Confused

I thought so... LOL  Maybe I'll save all this for the forthcoming Yoshida-related shopping spree that I know is in the offing at some point...

So far I've picked out the following:

Weidorje (yes, yes, way overdue getting this one...)
Marcoeur first 2 albums

ah! Macoeur is mind blowing pour moi, esp. the first. Have you heard any Etron Fou Leloublan?

Hmmm, maybe UZ 'Heresie'...

Nice!

I want more Koenjihyakkei but which one (I've only got 'Angherr Shisspa')?  (Don't say 'all', please... Unhappy)

Some other readily-available form of Zeuhl would also be fun.  (i.e. something in the Wayside catalogue, not something that only ran to 50 original LP copies, the master tape is kept in a vault under a Swiss mountain, guarded by a rabid half-demon bass guitarist, was re-released ten years ago before I even cared and is now out of print... Angry Wink)

some other greats:
Zao - 7L
Pataphonie - Les Matins Blanc
Hellebore - Il y'a Des Jours
Vortex  - Les Cyclone du Thanatos
Shub Niggurath - Les Morts Vont Vie
Toscco by Happy Family
ARCHAIA - same
Arachnoid - same

Hah, you just described pretty much every concert experience I've ever had. LOL

Concerts like that are typically full of people having their own personal rapture, not caring about anybody else (except for any hecklers!). Tongue  You might be in a little trance, pretending to play the drums on your knees, the person next to you was probably drooling and humming... LOL

Gaah, what, me, go nosing about in there...?  No way.  Far too intimidating! LOL

[Hehe, embarrassing responses to music: me, trying out my new ipod in the kitchen this evening whilst making dinner, dancing around and conducting K.A. with a vegetable knife. Embarrassed LOL]

It's only embarrassing if somebody witnesses it.  I'm on my own here at the moment, so all is good. Big%20smile

I think I'll play Infernal Machina on the stereo soon.  I've only listened to it through headphones so far. Big%20smile

Oh dear. Shocked  You might want to edit that post...  or face a chorus of 'Ooh, make me sweat, Jannick...' next time you show up around here! LOL

YES!!! I should use that every time I see James in the Suede Room now. Thanks.

LOLLOLLOLLOLLOL

I lol'ed hard. LOL

Gawd, I'm so sorry James... Unhappy  Of course, this kind of teasing would be sheer hypocrisy.  The others will all be palpitating and perspiring just as much when they hear this, no doubt. Dead LOL

[Somebody please stop me hijacking this thread... Embarrassed]

He deserves it. I'm "DTn00b1", "Rushn00b1", and many other things. Plus, he thinks VDGG is better than Magma!!!  (He's a witch!!!!)  LOLLOLLOLLOL

[I hijack every thread I post on, or nearly every one... I've learned that if someone complains to tell them to deal with it. Tongue]

And yeah, he's got me really pumped to hear the album, though I doubt I'll respond clear like that. I get into my music (singing, air-instrumentaling, tapping, etc.), but I never go beyond that. LOL

That's all I was doing... sans singing. Wink

There are no lyrics, just the typical Blasquiz moans and grunts that we all love. LOL
