how is it a mistake, that made no sense, I didn't like the songwriting, bland, predictable and uninteresting.

I didn't say anything about your music taste, so I wish you didn't pick on mine.

I don't understand how you find wikipedia more credible than progarchives. That was what I was wondering.

^ Thanks for recommending Message. I'm already looking forward to hearing them for the first time later in this thread. Thumbs Up

I think I'm in the minority (as per usual) in preferring Rare Birds over the better-known Hoelderlin's Traum album. Smile

Dom's Edge of Time remains one of my very favourites (and I mentioned my love of Message I think) and I love many of the usual suspects. Agitation Free's Malesch was the first I really got into followed by Dzyan's Electric Silence.

I tend not to be a discography completest and seem to have a very different approach to my listening.

Thanks for asking. There are too many favourites to feature them all, so I'll just pick one favourite album from each of the Krautrock bands I've featured here so far. Smile

Thanks for that!

I already know and love some of that, Dom's of course and The Cosmic Jokers is a favourite of mine, and I like Stuntman and the Hoelderlin (I know Hölderlins Traum much more) but there are various releases from bands I know other work by for me to check out.

EDIT: I forgot this wasn't set up as a blog. If It were a blog then I would expect this to go more into your thoughts and journey of discovery into the heady realms of Krautrock.

Thanks. I noticed that too, but it's listed as a 2010 album on Wikipedia. Smile

discogs got it released in 2014, too.

Maybe it was recorded in 2010 and shelved for 4 years.

I don't trust wikipedia. The fact that you give wikipedia more credit than PA is mindboggling.

In such cases it is best to rely on a variety of sources, and PA is reliant on other sources and often gets it wrong. I found this German article that talks about the release that was published in 2011. https://www.metal.de/reviews/werner-nadolny-s-jane-the-journey-i-best-of-jane-70-80-48294/

yeah, googling the album again, i also saw a 2011 release date. And also 2014. LOL

There might have been a re-release in 2014 of it, or some such thing, but I think it's pretty safe to assume that it came out by 2011 if I read that German review from 2011 correctly. Errors get duplicated so commonly on the internet, and often there are multiple release dates for something depending on region etc. I think I'd go crazy, or crazier, volunteering for PA's Errors and Omissions Team.
