I'll take a wild guess you had no issues with (how can I put this? ) being regular the day afterward...

Just curious...do you live in the Midwest..? I ask because there's a Dark Lord festival each year in April  at Three Floyds bewery in Munster ,IN that attracts a huge crowd that want to get a bottle of Dark Lord which is only made once a year.

The local brew fest was lots of fun.....over 30 vendors giving out samples in your little plastic cup....too many to name but there were some interesting ones:
'The Dude'-a White Russian java porter and they also had a chocolate vanilla porter that was very good-from Crown Brewing.
'Neptune' a delicious summer wheat beer by Four Fathers in Valparaiso, IN.
too many others to name and I forgot them anyway.....LOL

In any case, I would be going slightly overboard as well, if I was coming from a country where Pripps reigns supreme...

Wouldn't mind a cold Ringnes right now, but alas, my current situation dictates I must abstain from alcohol the next eight and a half weeks. I'll have some when I'm back home and starting my four weeks summer holiday.

Looking back now, from a sober pov, I may have pushed the envelope of what you can say to a fellow Scandinavian. I love the Swedes - even when they're karate drunk, which does tend to happen frequently on such festivals. The Danes are just as bad thoughWink

LOL I've heard Swedish guests are almost always drunk on such occasions ... this may have protected you in the light of such regressive territorial claims Wink
