I can see no difference except the titles, and you?

(I will contact Finnforest and Mellotron Storm about the reviews if you OK me)

^ José, imagine we have all editions in one entry and you're reviewing 2CD set - little you may say about 17 discs edition. And vice versa.

^ Well, to my understanding the reduced editions are selections from the main release.
(Discogs agrees with me, but again what do they know...)

It's the first time I see a (tri) duplication like this being intentionally done on this site, but I could be wrong.

^ I don't think they are duplications. 17 discs (actually 11CD + 6 DVD-Audio), 4 and 2CD sets are different beasts.

http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=42260

http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=52773

All three entries  (2 by the same guy) point to the same compilation/boxset.
None has reviews, so we could well delete 2 of them.
Shall I contact admins?   What do you think ?

Two Frank Zappa releases have been added to his studio albums, yet they are already here under compilations (with ratings and reviews).

^ And you guessed well ...DONE !

(I had already updated before the one to kill so it was just a matter of copy/paste to the surviving one)

EDIT: And duplication deleted (Admins are really super-fast, these days Big smile )

^ This one http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=17256 should stay, because it has reviews.
But its date, cover art etc should be changed (according to discogs, the album released in 2002, not in 2001: https://www.discogs.com/Hypnos-69-Timeline-Traveller/master/519914).

This one http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=17198 (unreviewed) must die.

Usually I do the following:
1. Correct the survivor page by adding the maximal amount of information (times, original artwork, releases etc).
2. After that ask admins to delete duplicated entry.

I guess you'd like to do this. Smile

http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=17256

It's a duplication of this one (the one to retain)

http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=17198

Only difference being the cover art

PLEASE DELETE (want me to report Admin? Please confirm you agree)

^ Nice to read this.

I've edited your SAGA additions, you can use this one: http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=52908 as an example of correctly formatted album info.

I just reported these duplications to admins, but please be more accurate in future!

Thanks for the reply.
Maybe I was too enthousiastic.
I will read the topics your provided.

I've been adding Saga-releases today (singles and compilations and even a new live-album) and for some reason a lot of these entries are added twice.
I don't know what I did wrong.

^ Sorry, I've missed this point.
If so let's leave US edition in Compilations. It will be a kind of "Meet the Moodies".

Like these two Wink (..."In fact they share a total of 8 tracks, and each has its own additional 4 different tracks."...)

Maybe ask XOver team's opinion.

^ I think the only helpful corrections would be to point out that "Go Now" is a US version of "The Magnificent Moodies" and add some reissues info to both albums.
