Thanks for the link, although I didn't find any Space Rock on there. It looks and sounds more like a station for New Age music, judging by the following description:-
Welcome to the world's most lovingly curated collection of Ambient, Space, and Contemplative music from around the world and across the centuries — a resource for calm, concentration and deep listening since 1983.
I doubt if you'd find any Hawkwind on there, but you might find a native American wind hawk.

Thanks Jean. Space Explosion are a band who disappeared down a worm hole at warp speed before I had a chance to add them to my Space Rock database, but I'll be sure to beam them up later on this thread.
I haven't listened to this galaxy of albums yet, so there's no star ratings or album links. Feel free to let me know if I've missed out any more recent artists (as this list was last updated in 2017), although I'll only be including Space Rock bands from around our own intergalactic neighbourhood of the Milky Way galaxy. Aliens are excluded.

^^ I wonder how 10cc ended up on that obscure and eclectic list of artists. They seem a bit too mainstream for a space pirate radio station. It's definitely the kind of radio station I'd like to listen to though. It's much better than our boring old BBC Radio 2 in England.
Hi,
You can hear the show in its new incarnation on Twitch ... it's still the best thing going, and the continuity is second to none in how Guy puts things together!
Highly recommended, every Sunday Night/Monday Morning (Pacific Time) ... you can search this for Guy's name. And he lists the artists every Monday morning on a thread on this site.
I've come to the conclusion that it is not about one thing or another .. that it is all about the music itself, and the rest is immaterial. This show will never have to say it is this or that, but it certainly has the greatest amount of new material EVER and it does not stop ... and I can not tell you how many of the artists themselves are thankful that things are getting played ... which is a miracle for many bands out there!
Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told! www.pedrosena.com
In Search of Space..... Who are your Top 10 Space Rock bands? Do you prefer the Sonic Attack of Hawkwind with their Astounding Sounds, Amazing Music? Are they still the Masters of the Universe and perennial Warriors on the Edge of Time, or have Hawkwind now been surpassed by a modern band of Space Bandits?
Funny you should ask that two days past In Search Of Space's 50-year anniversary
I was in search of an album title, and it's purely a coincidence that I happened to mention that classic album today.
