Are you familiar with the band Faith Circus?  They are an AOR band from Norway.

Hes a tremendous humble and guitarist, once tryed to replace Blackmore in DP

Yeah, they won four in a row, the last one in '83, incidently, the year I was born.

Used to play the old Nintendo game Blades of Steel when I was a kid, and for some reason I would always be New York, who had red and blue uniforms. They were probably meant to represent Rangers, but blue and red works for Isles, too, well, in my mind it did. Isles were the lesser New York team back then, in the early '90's (as they still are), so they became my team, you know, the rooting-for-the-underdog-thing.

Yeah, haven't been much to celebrate in my time as an Islanders fan. You probably need the fingers on both your hands to count how many times they've made the play-offs since 1990, but I don't think you need to take your socks off to start on your toes.

Anyway, made it through the whole Liverpool match, which ended with yet another frustrating loss in what has been a hugely disappointing start to the new season. Now it's time for bed. Have some pretty hard exercising to do tomorrow. Bayou.

I happened to see a billboard advertising the Wings' game when I was driving to the Tigers' game, so made myself a mental note to let you know.

Kind of tough work being an Isles' fan.  They were one of the best teams when I was a kid back when they won the Cup three or four years in a row.  They haven't been very good in a long time though.  (Although they always seem to beat the Wings when we would face them once a year).

Audun, before I forget, Red Wings opening game is October 9th vs Boston Bruins.  it looks as though the first regular season games are on October 8th.

The Braves are definitely not on the dance floor this year.  They should hit the showers, but I'm afraid they'd miss.

Yep.  They waited until the last day to do it...but they did it.  I don't really have much in expectations for them, but they are on the dance floor, so anything can happen.

I see from your avatar change that the Tigers have won their division.  Congrats!  I'll pull for them in the postseason.
