I do wonder why Roger chose to go live in USA and not in Russia...

I won't see Roger on his latest tour, but mainly 'cause he relies more on tapes, loops and Autotune for a majority of the show.
He did use tapes & loops.  There was no obvious autotuning
Trust me. I know what I'm doing.

Apparently Rog just wrote a letter to Putin, after having written to his wife. Wacko
Almost proposing himself as a mediator.
As if them letters would actually reach Vlado The Wacko. Party

let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword

I passed too on this tour.
Partly because it was a 2 hr drive on a "school night", but also there wasn't much new on the playlist.

But I did catch it on Youtube.  I think it was the Cincinnati show.
No Civilization here. Tried it on but it would not fit.
Seems only a thin veneer. A little rubbing and it comes off quick.

I like to feel the suspense when you're certain you know I am there.....

He's just normal folk, expressing his beliefs, albeit in an ill-advised manner. I'm surprised Mr. Waters hasn't had a photo op with Trump like he did a few years back with Clinton. As usual, he came off as caustic in this situation, but isn't that his modus operandi?

Rather confirms my view that Waters is either a prize pillock or mentally not quite there.

Not sure if he is "mentally not quite there" and I don't know what a "pillock" is, although probably not nice LOL.....but I am beyond done with his political stances on the world.

A pillock is a person who is a thickie. Stupid. As thick as a brick.

Before judging, please listen to his interview to CNN. Not so out of his mind.
I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

He's absolutely lost the plot. The Roger Waters that wrote Animals is gone.
Porg for short. My love of music doesn't end with prog! Feel free to discuss all sorts of music with me. Odds are I'll give it a chance if I haven't already! :)

He's such a meanie he deserves it.

Certainly not a good thing for him. Everyone is entitle to his opinions, but sometimes, is obvious you are a little (or a lot) out of your mind.
