^^So what you're telling me is that there's actually people out there, who aren't Danish, who know about these guys?
I really dig the album and don't know why it's gotten the bad rep it has, but I do prefer their earlier work nonetheless. Hey if you're interested in these guys, then I just posted a recent concert of em in the "I need vocal orientated post-rock" thread. It's a performance with the Wordless Music Orchestra, and the whole thing is professionally caught on film.

I have and love Parades, but Magic Chairs was such a disappointment to me... Now listening:

Best song is still Watch Your Diction. Man that's so cool! Pretty left-field too for this show. | Yeah, that was my first (and at that time, only) original song I contributed to the band. It was recycled from a punk/hardcore album I made myself in 1993! I've since written two more songs for the group, and all three will be on the album. So happy you liked that one best. . This performance was its live debut. Some audiences have been kind of turned off by it, but I'm thankful the band's letting me indulge a little in the punk thing. |
Hey that's what makes a band eh? If you can't join in with your own ideas, what fun would it be. BTW I loved your solo on the Runaway Bob thing. I just wish it was a couple of minutes longer. The last one on Twilight Zone is pretty neat too, but it doesn't have the same amount of swoosh coming from your surroundings, if ya know what I mean...
Anyway, I'm off for some lasagne and tomato salad. See ya matey!

Hang on a minute, who is the real drummer/singer? You guys keep mixing it up
Very nice crooning vocals on Bamboozled by Love! Dude, you can really sing I like the girl you can hear in the back that goes "Whooooiii" during this tune - she's really feeling you buddy. You sexy beast you |
Back then Bob and Jack split the drum work about 50/50, now Bob plays most of the time except when Jack takes over on drums so Bob can be out front singing his own tunes. They're both great drummers but Bob is clearly the better of the two - Jack would agree.
