This is interesting, especially the last two.Shocked

I honestly can't tell if he's joking or if he's being serious. LOL

If you would like some context to determine my approach towards making these lists, check out the ones I made on the first few pages.

I like making these, so...

Mikael Akerfeldt - growling
Geddy Lee - screaming
Maynard James Keenan - yelling
Chuck Schuldiner - screeching

They would be a metal barbershop quartet.

LOL Wow, that would be something! I could totally see the boys doing an a capella soundtrack to the next Saw movie. Wink Geddy's shriek; the only thing that keeps me up at night.

"Freeze" from Vapor Trails should be on a horror soundtrack; Geddy's vocals during the bridge are spine-chilling.

LOL Oh yeah, maybe a little bit of Cygnus X-1 in there as well, yeah you know the part I'm talking about Wink. How about 2012 Ged signing that to a live audience? Every nerve would be torn apart. Stern Smile

¿Wouldn't you like Roger Waters on the Screaming Department? His part on "Careful with that Axe, Eugene" was more than stellar.

Here's my ideal line-up for a pessimistic progressive bluegrass band. I'm specific.

Bass guitarist - Bob Dylan (1967)
Vocalist - Sam Cooke (1963)
Backup Vocalist/Harmonies - Charlie Louvin (1966), Johnny Cash (2002)
Mandolin - Ira Louvin (1962)
Electric Guitar - David Gilmour (1977)
Acoustic Guitar - Warren Zevon (!976)
Drummer/Percussionist - Ringo Starr (1971)
Lyricist - Leonard Cohen (1971), Roger Waters (1982) (working independently)
Pianist/keyboards - Stevie Wonder (1976)
Production team - Alan Parsons (1977), Phil Spector (working from prison)
Songwriting team - John Lennon (1970), Sam Cooke (1963), Tom Waits (1992)
Cover Art designer - H.R. Giger

They'd all have to have been forced into living together in close unison for years. They'd have John Cage (1961) and Charlie Manson (1969) as inspirational gurus, and they would've all been forced to witness the self-immolation of Thich Quang Duc first-hand in full, empathetic context. They'd be recording music in 1973 and they'd have access to any equipment they'd need. As a measure of completion, each member would experience a violent electric shock twice per day at random intervals. It would be attributed to racist contempt. Plus they'd have a lot of grunge music to listen to.

Lead vocals, lyrics and flute: Ian Anderson (Jethro Tull)
Bass and back-up vocals: Les Claypool (Primus)
Guitar: Alex Lifeson (Rush)
Guitar: Robert Fripp (King Crimson)
Percussion: Danny Carey (Tool)
Keyboards: Jordan Rudess (Dream Theater)
Producer: Peter Gabriel (Genesis)

Genre: Funky folk metal fusion.

Yeah... mostly I just wanted to mess with the genre.
Still... I think Ian and Les would work well together, Alex is a chameleon, Fripp is... well... Fripp, Jordan Rudess could give the song atmosphere, and Danny is there to make it metal. LOL
