Yesterday: Good stuff! Now: Nice enough. The taste's a little too flat for my...well, taste.

They've got a microbrewery every block, and of course, it's the home of Rogue. Edited by Metalmarsh89 - December 08 2014 at 09:18 |

Oh yes I have.
Drank these during a Movember party (basically just means that men develop an upperlip moustache during November to draw attention to testicular cancer. How a moustache achieves that, I have absolutely no idea) And yes of course I was sponsoring my own moustache as well Anyway, they were pretty nifty and I drank quite a few. I still prefer Mikkeler's brewery here in DK. If you ever come across something from Mikkeler, then take a chance with it. They make absolutely brilliant beer! Does anyone remember Rogue US bottled beers - superb! (surprisingly for the nation that brought us Bud)

Had a taste of this earlier in the week, at a pinnekjøtt gathering at a friends house. And yesterday I tried this one out: Both very good, especially the pinnekjøtt one (will try to get me one of those, to have something to wash down the Christmas ribb with on Christmas Eve). Have you tried out anything from this brewery, David? It's Danish, I believe. I also tasted this one for the first time yesterday: Tasty! Tonight's choices: As good as it was last year. Yum!

That juleøl looks interesting Audun!
I'm going for a morning brewski myself, so I'm opting for one of my alltime faves: Uuhhhm....one of the best mass produced ales in DK, without a doubt. |

Very mellow and sip-able Doc, and I'm no seasoned whiskey drinker. Always thought it a bit harsh, a lot harsh actually. Someone recommended this brand to me and it is pretty easy drinking....I can appreciate at room temp straight up for a few sips, then I usually add some ice and water (or pop) to down the rest.

That sounds nice...might have to try some of that soon. Had a Yuengling October fest beer today......might have a small taste of B&B later.

I'm cheating again, but since we don't have enough spirits drinkers here for a thread, I'll report here that I'm sipping this warming beverage as the snow blows cold out my window. It works! The Irish know something about whiskey.

The Steeler's game has made turn to some rot-gut....Stack, a high gravity beer at 9.9% ALC! Although this photo shows 12%, have not seen that one yet around here, . Actually not that bad for what it is....

First:
A low-percentage dark beer from Czech Republic. Now on to: White, unfiltered, barley-wheat beer from Ukraine. |
