As expected, the second annual Lazland awards is a hoot, Steve. Especially the Rishi short pants award and the lying b*****ds award. Wonderful! LOL

The third album review this week is a very interesting and satisfying album by K.A.B. (the solo project by Vamoosery drummer Kevin Button), Pause/Reflect. A very good album, especially for those of you who enjoy modern heavier rock music.

As ever, pop along to www.lazland.org and click on the button.

Next up are my annual awards - almost finished!!

Presently listening to new TFK, Tangerine Dream, and The Foxholes to review in the next week, I hope.

A Happy New Year to all followers and friends of www.lazland.org  I truly appreciate all of you.

Tonight, to kick off 2024, we have two album reviews to present to you, both of them from the incomparable Judie Tzuke. We have 1998's Secret Agent and the 2023 release, Jude the Unsinkable. As ever, you can see these by popping along to my homepage and clicking on the relevant buttons.

I have also updated my Progzilla Radion spots in the Archives Section of the website.

More to follow this week.

8.00 p.m. GMT (UK), my guest spot on Graham Harfleet's Progressive Rock Show on Progzilla Radio tonight features the wonderful Swedish band, Introitus and their deeply moving Soulprint (For Mother). I hope to see some of you in the chat room.

If you can't make it, I would like to thank all of you who have visited and supported my website in 2023. It means so much, honestly. I will shortly be compiling my Lazand 2023 Awards, which, again, will be something a wee bit different to the traditional top ten lists you see on other websites.

2024 will hopefully bring a fresh batch of quality music. I think this last year has been a classic one, and heartening to see so many younger bands starting to make their presence felt.

2024 will see www.lazland.org remain free from those bloody annoying adverts which pop up every time you want to see words on a new album, book, or gig. My website is a labour of love, and in April when I go partially retired at work, so only working three days a week, I will have even more time to devote to the website and hopefully introduce some new stuff or start on the huge job of doing reviews of historic albums I somehow missed at the time.

Whatever, a peaceful and happy Christmas to all my website visitors and PA members. Nadolig Llawen with loveHeart

Nice review on "Powers And Thrones", Steve. There's only one period I enjoy better than the middle ages and that's the Dark Ages. That must be from my dark side. Lol. Cheers.
