Just revisiting some tracks from "The Mob Rules" and remembered how much I like that album too. I'm still not sure it'd be in my top 5 but I thought I'd mention it anyway. Falling off the Edge of the World is righteous.

Sabbath Bloody Sabbath Sabotage Never Say Die Technical Ecstasy Heaven And Hell
Like Snowdog, The first time I saw negative reviews of the two last Ozzy albums is when I joind PA.
About your question Jim, they do go quite well together but no I wouldn't say they were similar (although NSD's title track could easily fit TE). Definitely worth investigating further more if your a Sabbath fan (and I think you are).

Wow, a TE fan!
Snowie, TE and NSD are the two I'm least familiar with. I always assumed they were fairly similar albums....not so?
I don't like Never Say Die much so I personally don't hear it. I have only become aware that TE is not a highly regarded album since joining PA. I bloody love it. I had the LP and it was the first Sabbath I bought on CD. It is not like the first six though.

So far I'm the only one who's shown any love for the Martin era. Not as much love for the Dio era as I'd have expected either.
Born Again is a great album. The title track, Trashed and Zero the Hero are probably my favorites. Love the extended Stonehenge on the deluxe edition as well.

^^Right now it's my favorite BS actually. Played it yesterday and I just adore it. In my list I'm giving respect to the albums that I've loved overall through the years, but at this very moment Born Again is the one I play most often.
