yes i see, but i love both,you know at the time, it was difficult to win a little money and more difficult to find out records, i remember i got to buy bargain records coming from jukebox to a guy at the market,but when i was in front of him with a little money, so cooooolll!!!

For me its Paranoid by far, im no big DP fan and i dont think Black night is that special its a okay song, while i love Paranoid, one of the best metal songs ever!

I didn't even have a bike! Although, I was lucky (or unlucky!) enough to be just a short bus trip into Glasgow city centre. Glasgow had some awesome record shops back in the day... a visit to the original Virgin store was a very exotic experience in the eary '70s! You could always find a bargain in some of those wee dive stores. And budget albums like Relics and The Faust Tapes were a real godsend to a poor teenager. Even the straight shops were great in those days. I remember buying Foxtrot during a holiday visit to relatives in Luton, after seeing the album cover in the window of the Woolworth's store. Changed days!

Paranoid (sorry I just got back from playing a gig and was half asleep when I read your thread ) I didn't buy singles but my mates did. Paranoid was THE one at the time.

I actually preferred Sabbath's The Wizard which I remember being on a single around the time. Great blues-harp. Not sure if it was a B-side of Evil Woman or what. Still like Paranoid though. And Black Night of course.
