The fact it is a debut album doesn't mean anything when is common knowledge that about 70% of that album was not written by the band.

While I voted for LZ this time because this album was one of the best of all time and my personal favorite of all of their albums and The Who Sell Out is not so much, there are other Who albums I put above all of Zep's such as Who's Next and Quadraphenia. The song writing depth on those two is tremendous.

The Who all the way. The Who Sell Out is an amazing conceptual record, full of originality. That cannot be said about the Zep. Led Zeppelin I is plagued with plagiarism.

Led Zeppelin's 60s era is golden, Who's 60s era not so much although still decent and with the ocassional stunner.
However, when it comes to the 70s The Who beats Zeppelin in almost every case for me.

Zep in this case.
The Who have the odd great album eg Who's Next and some very average ones, Face Dances....

If it were the bands, The Who every time. But Led Zep I is still an utter classic, whilst Sell Out wasn't that at the time of release.

Almost in the same year? Like one was 1967 and the other 1867? |

Those were released almost in the same year, both great, both made by English bands who are in PA' Proto Prog Prog Related section, that's all.
PS BTW, I get an idea to post a few Zep vs Who albums polls because I saw many polls Who vs Zep as the bands polls, I never saw the albums battle
