From how the Brits talk about her I could compare her to a choice few of the US women political leaders. *CoughPelosiCough*

When the Tigers Broke Free has got to be the worst Pink Floyd song.

From what I've heard there are only two songs that I like from that album: Not Now John and The Fletcher Memorial Home. But Not Now John could have been much better without the goddamn background singers repeating "f**k all that"

It's an alright CD but I'm not big on Pink Floyd. I'll have to say that The Final Cut song itself is great!

I don't like Southampton Dock very much either, but the live version from "In The Flesh" is pretty nice, it's got some extra chorus... and something seems to have been corrected from the original song. It just sounds more complete.

The Final Cut is still a pretty good album; the songs on the album that are unlistenable to me anymore are Southampton Dock and Not Now John; I still enjoy the rest though.

The Final Cut is a Waters solo album - I dont have it contaminating my Pink Floyd collection.

The Final Cut is a fantastic album, very lyrical and personal, full of beautyful melodies. As was said, we can treat it as a Roger Waters solo effort released under the "Pink Floyd" name. But still it is a very solid "Pink Floyd" album or one of the best (if not the best) Waters album. Anyway it is a piece of very good anti-war concept album.

The likers are well in the majority here. I'm quite pleased with that.

Oh well... I beg your pardon, but I wholly dislike Final Cut.
No matter what I think about Waters, but simply I don't like the tunes, that's all folks. And last but not least, Wright had quit the band... I think the record as a Water's solo, with Gilmour, Mason and others as session musician.

So two new candidates as worst PF album have appeared. I've been criticized because of negative polls so I won't open a new one. Obscured by Clouds contains elements that were exploited later on Dark Side, Animals, The Wall and The Final Cut and has some of the darkest lyrics ever written by Waters.

I don't think it's Crap, though it's far from my fav Floyd album. There are some very good songs, mainly the title song for me, and "The Fletcher Memorial Home". The album would have been better if it had included both parts of "The Heroes Return", I find that one rather good, but far too short, while being played both parts together, it's long enough for me to enjoy it. And then, the inclusion of "When the Tigers Broke Free" on the last remaster also adds to the album.

Obscured by Clouds is great! The Final Cut is good not great.
