No doubt about it! Even as derivative (I dislike that word) as the debut is, I like it too. It's all great! But understand that every album is different. Unlike some bands that have multiple albums that seem to have interchangeable songs, they don't. Each is unique in style and approach.

I'm glad you took the plunge!  In my opinion, their top five albums are (in order):

1. Mei
2. Cowboy Poems Free
3. The End is Beautiful
4. Suffocating the Bloom
5. As the World

Ahhhh!!! Fantastic addition! I'm so keen to seeking any news about Echolyn that all this great interview would drive me drunk for a while LOL...until next mandatory purchase of the band's album! Really: it emerges a very good feeling in the band about music "construction" - check out the small video in Echolyn's website to see how they do it. And I have to say that I appreciate a lot the questions about brief notes on the Echolyn's discography: I do share 100% Brett's replies. Congratulations, and thanks, to the interviewer.

Cheers Rob. Always a pleasure to see the subject of Echolyn pop up on these pages. God bless 'em. Smile
