Tell that to the owners of the site. Art rock is listed as one of the subcategories. And I am an Upper Class Twerp, thank you very much

It's got to be ELP Fanfare for the common man.........who else could get away with shooting a video in 6 feet of snow in an empty stadium.

ps...art rock ain't progressive, always reminds me of middle class twerps.

I always liked Learning to Fly, the guy in the wheat field.

Another Brick in the Wall was cool too, iirc, the children going into the meat grinder and such.

There's many Radiohead videos I like, Paranoid Android, Street Spirit, Karma Police, No Surprises. There's a few amazing video's on Radiohead's "The Most Gigantic Lying Mouth of all Time" dvd, Like Spinning Plates comes to mind..

Someone listed a link to the new Mars Volta video, that was pretty tough.

There's video of Rush, I think it's either Limelight or Freewill, they're playing in a log cabin up north, it's pretty eclectic and cool. Subdivisions is a good video.

Rush had some video's in the 90s, Driven, iirc, Geddy driving some crazy go cart around flaming obstacle courses or something. That was pretty good.

I think Tool probably has the best prog video's though. Strangeness.

Gaston

It's the same guy. Great minds think alike.

Opeth - Lamentations
This body holding me reminds me of my own mortality.
Embrace this moment. Remember. We are eternal.

I don't know if it is progressive rock. But Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody is a good clip too.

Not many prog videos that I've seen (mostly concerts). One I like a lot is Delicate Sound Of Thunder (Pink Floyd), with the circular video screen behind the band. Especially 'On The Run' is very amusing: hospital patient driving with his bed. Also 'Us and Them' has a nice short movie, and 'Great Gig in the Sky' with fireworks and 3 beautiful ladies... lovely!

BTW, has anyone seen Marillion The Singles DVD? No reviews of it. I've seen the early videos from Market square Heroes to Heart of Lothian (not very good, most of them), how about Hogarth-era videos?

For me:

single Video: 'High hopes' - Pink Floyd', 'Hollow years'- Dreamtheater, 'Experiment IV'- Kate Bush, 'Sledgehammer' - Peter Gabriel or even 'Aero' - Jean Michel Jarre (those who have seen it will know what I mean!! :))

concert: Either 'Rush in Rio' ,'Yes - Symphonic live' or 'Peter Gabriel - 'Growing up live'

A while ago, I was watching VH1 and they showed a King Crimson video, but unfortunately it was the first time I'd ever heard of them so I didn't remember the name of the song and it's been driving me crazy lately. I'm sure it was one of the 70's lineups, and it didn't really have a clear musical structure, it was just them messing around. Any idea on what song that was?
