I saw they have been rejected from RIO/Avant. I think they could fit in Post/Math...  but looking at the top of this page it's something I have already written.. Stern Smile
At least I didn't change my mind during all this time...
I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

Listened to full album, very competent work - and interesting enough! Still think it could fit to Electronic, Avant or Eclectic.

I listened to myspace samples, for me electronic/dark ambient/noise/avant/experimental music. Possibly fits for electronics or avant prog. Downloading (free) album now.

Oh, some Japanese phrases in "148 Light Years" ...

"Oooooi, Abunaizo, Oritekoi, Oritekoiyo, Abunaizo ... "

In English, "Come on, very dangerous, come down here, down here soon, very dangerous!" okay? Tongue

...Anyway, a very experimental but tough case ... some Krautrock flavour I feel, as Greg has said.

I'm currently on "Blue Giant". Outside is dark and rainy and absolutely quiet. It's early afternoon here.
In this moment this music is perffect

I have just downloaded 148 light years. I think they fit in the Post Rock/Math Rock section. At least they give me more or less the same sensations that I get from groups like "from monument to masses".

8.3 Days is a great track. I still have to listen to the whole album, but I think they can stay on PA

I listened to some of the songs on the Myspace (where I believe the entire new album is available to listen to, though possibly out of order) and I was going to say maybe Post rock.  Then I came to this thread and saw that the Post Rock team had already checked it out and said they don't fit there. Wacko  Way to shut me down. LOL

With that out of the way...I'm not sure, it's tricky.  I'd say maybe electronic, like the others are saying, but I'm really not sure.

Might be quicker ,but the quicker path is not always the better path. Let me have a listen and get back to you.

Thanks for the interest Angel! When you have some time, can you download the album and give it a listen? I think it might give a different view of the whole than the MySpace samples. Also, can you please submit it for the Post-Rock team to vote? Thanks a lot Big smile
