I like him, voted for him (in a swing state no less!) If nothing else, I like that he has principles and sticks by them, even in the face of massive critcism and political pressure.
He's no Reagan though.

Just for the record, I am an Archconservative, and I STILL don't like him.

The funny thing is, while I disagree politically, G.H.W.B (Papa Bush, Bush 41, Abuelo Arbusto) wasn't that bad a guy IMO.
I would have voted for him WAY quicker than I would Jr Bush.

Funny, how he left a certain war in Iraq...before it became a disaster. Wink
Papa knows best.

Well, "f**king hate" is a little strong, but I can't stand him myself.  He's bungled a war in Iraq (which shouldn't have been started at all) and it only seems to be getting worse.

HHHMMMMMMmmmmmmmmm........... this poll seems to be a tad skewed......

Well, guess I have to add another vote to I f*cking hate his guts.
I have since day ONE.
Pretty much I disagree with him on every position, and just flat out hate the job his administration is doin. His administration, because  Istill dont think he is really the top dog.

But I WILL say it. I think GWB means well, I really, really, think he does. He's just naive, and lives in a lil bubble world where his advisors feed him bullsh*t.
And as for being an idiot....he may not be a good speaker, but if you notice he usually does alright until he starts saying something random and really fumbles it up.
Just STICK TO THE SPEECH THAT WAS WRITTEN GEORGE!
It's ok, there are speechwriters for a reason.

I'm done

I don't like him. I hardly ever like anyone in a position as he is. People with high political significance. But that's because I find it better that it were all rather divided to an amount of people. He's not the devil, he's just a bloody silly mannequin before a number of worse people.

However, Kerry was even worse. But NOBODY can be worst than Brazilian's president.

Please, let's be truthful at least.  Bush graduated in the bottom quarter of his Yale class of 1968 with a low 'C' average, and only got accepted to begin with because of his family lineage.  He did graduate from flight training in the Texas Air National Guard, but his low pilot aptitude score of 25 nearly disqualified him before he even started.

He and his brother Jeb have been at the helm as governors of the two states that have executed more Americans in the name of 'justice' than all other 48 states combined.  He has reversed two of the only three years in my lifetime of non-deficit spending, by running up the largest federal deficits in our history, three years running.  At the same time he continues to authorize our Federal Reserve to borrow money daily from the world market to finance tax cuts for our wealthiest citizens, as well as finance wars on the Iraq and Afghanistan fronts that have killed far more human beings than ever perished on 9/11, and redirected funds that might have spared the Gulf Coast in the recent hurricane there, to finance those wars instead.  He has tolerated the imprisonment of hundreds of 'prisoners of war' in Cuba and elsewhere without any of the due process of the laws he is sworn to uphold.  If the flag flying over his head were any other than ours (or possibly Britain's), he would be on trial today in the Hague for that alone.

I, like most Americans, am proud of my country.  I served 12 years honorable active duty in the Marine Corps myself, so I believe I have as much right to say this as anyone:  this man is not acting in the best interests of our nation, or of the world community of which we are a part.  His actions are myopic, xenophobic, and frankly dangerous.  I for one can't wait to see his backside leaving Washington in three years.

"Peace is the only battle worth waging."
