Thank you for sharing a very wonderful photograph. There are not so many places like the photograph in the region where I live. It is felt that it envies it very much.

Thank you for the compliment! We play classical, jazz and the odd rock or pop song. Jean plays piano and sings some harmony vocals, I sing lead vocals and play percussion instruments. We are sometimes joined by some of our guests (there are many musicians, actors, dancers, writers, painters and other kinds of artists among the guests at our restaurant).

We want the donkey song... |
we actually play that one too at our restaurant, and it is always great fun, with me just hammering on the piano with my fists at irregular intervals and Friede bleating like a goat all the time. it always gets a good laugh. of course we explain what the song is all about before playing it. for those who don't know the story behind the song: it is based on this joke: the pilot of a single-seated airplane has to take an emergency landing in a desert. he decides to try to walk out of it and finally reaches an oasis with a little house and a shed. he knocks, and an old man opens who is very pleased he finally is visited by someone. he gives him plenty to eat and drink and then finally says: "since you are the first to visit me here I will show you something special". he leaves the house and returns with a donkey. the donkey sits down at a piano and starts to play: Beethoven, Mozart, Bach; it plays wonderfully. "wow", says the pilot, "incredible". "oh, that's not all" replies the old man, leaves again and returns with a goat. the goat puts one front hof on the pian and stands on its hind legs, then starts to sing in a beautiful voice; Lieder by Brahms, Schuber and Schumann. "fantastic" says the pilot. "there is just one thing I don't understand: you could make millions with that act;; why do you live out here in the desert"? the old man starts crying: "it's all a hoax; the goat can't sing at all; the donkey is a ventriloquist".when we play this "song" we demonstrate what it really would sound like if a donkey played piano and a goat sang

Are you distributing cook's toques to your guests, then?

We did release our album in a limited edition of 500, which we sold at our restaurant. It was sold out within four weeks. Our avatars show the album cover.

The one on the right is definitely Christian Vander (Magma). The other two are probably Mani Neumeier and Pierre Moerlen; I don't know how they look but I know Friede's tastes.

Wow, that's great. I didn't expect that at all! I wouldn't have thought you play live music. I was rather asking about your CD playlist, but what you say sounds great, makes me think of a warm and creative atmosphere.
