Good that you mention that. I never noticed that second meaning. Nice!

I like it! And I think OLIVE MESS is also a stunning name
like Olivier Messiaen, a 20th century classical music composer whose works are often resembling avant-prog
I think all these three names are very nice!

Of course the user names of Jean and me are obvious; they refer to our hairstyle and our names ("Friederike" and "Jeanine"). But mine actually has a double meaning. "Bald" is German for "soon", and "Friede" is German for "peace" (usually "peace of mind" or just general peace; for "peace between countries" usually "Frieden" is used, but there is also the expression "Friede unter den Völkern", which means "peace among the peoples"). So it also means "SoonPeace".

The Progtologist (my favourite of all the usernames with "prog" in it; mind you,I did think of calling myself something like Dr. Proggenstein)
Cygnus X-2 Snow Dog King By-Tor (and I'm not even a Rush fan) Man Overboard The Pessimist Fandango Cacho Ricochet Atavachron (I love Allan Holdsworth; Star Trek is also cool) Frasse Reed Lover (from the old days) And of course... Moogtron III ; well, not really actually: it's just a name I thought of when I wanted to join the forum. It's alright but not amongst my favourites. |

Sinkadotentree (not because the bands smashed together - for example I don't like PT so much...)
progressive (yes, this is me ) avestin (somehow.. I'm not sure if it is because of his nice taste.. no it isn't (though he has great taste of music), jsut sounds good) Edit: I love myself so much that I just looked that last.fm top artists list under this text and thought how beautiful it is... brilliant artists and the listener has great taste! Your screenname is better than mine and you know it. Mine's generic. I do love it, but it's not the most creative name ever. I just kept it since I've used it for like 5 years now. Edited by MovingPictures07 - January 26 2009 at 16:25 |

Some of my favorites...
Sinkadotentree King By-Tor NaturalScience Geck0 That's all I can think of right now for some reason. I'd mention Movingpictures07, but I don't want to give him the illusion that I like anything about him. |

Technically, no. But to appear cool, yes! P.S.: I do absolutely love Child In Time...unfortunately, the rest of Deep Purple leaves me pretty cold. P.S.#2: There's also a ricochet in Marillion's music. P.S. #3: There's also a Metal band called Ricochet. Edited by Ricochet - January 26 2009 at 12:05 |
