Provided he's able to sing in polish... which I doubt. |

i think that would be more interesting if Mr. Gabriel will recorded these covers on that original, Polish versions, than on English versions, imho.

ok, i agree, then i´m feel free to suggest to Mr. Gabriel to get anOBSCURE SONG by TAKO, or INDEXI ,or even EKV; i mean, not one of worldwide popular songs by these bands for covering that.
btw, some suggest from Poland prog bands, i mean, from that golden decade, ´70s ? Edited by zicIy - June 10 2008 at 16:08 |

People, I think you missed the point. You all list well know songs from well known bands/artists whilst:
" Not necessarily standards or classic songs, but songs perhaps that are from artists that are less known, or songs that are less known. I'm sure some of you out there will have ideas for songs thatÊyou'd like to hear me sing and it would be very interesting to get your feedback... I'm certainly not promising to cover the ones that score the highest, because when you cover a song you really have to feel something for it, but your ideas would be much appreciated.”

I wonder how he would cover "My name is Mud" by Primus. I'd like to see Tony Levin play the basslines.

LOL. I like that almost as much as the Neil Young suggestions, but I'm sure he'd never try to compete with Johnny.
