Topic: The best album of 1969! Posted: January 28 2006 at 23:44 |
As far as prog albums go that’s an easy question ITCOCK
Of course. But Hot Rats is also good as is some of the
Other stuff which came from ’69.

It comes to Hot Rats and Led Zeppelin II. I'll go with the mighty Zep, since It's a personal favorite.

Ummagumma, with More in close second, then In the Court in very close third.
I was also considering the Zeppelin albums.

Led Zep 2.
There's not much to my taste other than that, not liking KC or the Moody Blues much.

[QUOTE=Hiwatter] High Tide - Sea Shanties --
This album is the heaviest album of the 60s i think. Tony Hill plays
exceptional great guitar! Black Sabbath could shame with their debut.
Recommended! [/QI really need to listen to this as it seems to
get a lot of attention. however my favorite from '69 would have to
either be' Phallus Dei' by Amon Dull II or 'Bitches Brew' by Miles UOTE]

Definitely supported! The endless battle between electric guitar and electric violin is just great. Other albums that need to be mentioned: Can - Monster Movie Amon Düül 2 - Phallus Dei
