Topic: Why is PA the friendliest place on the web? Posted: April 01 2007 at 17:21 |
The best message boards were shut down many years ago when CDNow was bought out by Amazon.

the people are more respectful of each other for the most part than on any other forum (the comatorium is flat out war....) but I am somewhat annoyed with the fact that these days every 3rd thread in the main forums seems to be about "this band isn't prog" or how to classify a certain band etc.....its like watching a bunch of old men argue about nothing no offense to the most part of all ya though, everyone is friendly and respectable

Well I've been here for around a year I think , although I'm guilty for not being very active, hence the lack of posts I've made in such a long period of time.
Just lately though, I've decided to start making more contributions to the forum and I have to agree, people here are very friendly. I've yet to encounter any trolling or any sort of moronic posting, good job to the admin, I hope I can become more involved in the forum in the near future :)

I believe in American slang usage "well-" would be tautological...

Sorry I couldn't get everyone in. I used the pics I already had and couldn't spend the twenty-seven hours researching the Rogue's Gallery.
I'll try harder next time.

I'll keep an eye on that.... If you don't include everybody and their dogs, I will ask for you to be hanged.

Well, what can be said after 6 great pages of a great thread on a great forum?
There are sometimes developements what I don't really like(nothing is perfect under the sun), but overall I love PA and its Forum.
My safe haven on the web. The number of my favourite bands has been increasing rapidly, since I 'm here. It always makes me happy, that there are still wise, humorous, intelligent, nice people left on this planet, for what this forum gives me the numerously most proof.
The only member I've met in person is Erik in Den Haag, but I'm sure, that you others are great and interesting persons as well.

I'm not sure, but I believe the Smiles pub is closed at the moment , so we'll have to find another meeting point (there's apparently a good-ish pub round the back of the Hippodrome just down the street)
