Same for me! The first four songs might possibly constitute the greatest album ever made.
Zappa88, I'm beginning to question whether or not your have musical taste. Sure, you're a big Zappa fan, but you can't get Tago Mago?!?!?!
|
The only thing I can get from Tago Mago is the four dollars I'm waiting to make off of it's retirement from my collection. You guys may think different, but to my ears, it is a pile of rubbish.
'Nuff said.

BTW: Will you also do an elimination tourney for live albums only?

I think I should, a bunch of live albums are near-perfect.
Think I should do a part 3 for live albums before the finale?

Have you relistened yet, as you promised you would?

Yup, I re-listened two more times. Nothing is clicking, still. I might give it another go before I sell it back to guy I got it from though. |
If you've listened twice more and it's still not clicking... why I oughta... umm... oughta... umm... umm... umm...
GIVE YOU A WHOLE DAMN PYRAMID OF ANGRY EMOTICONS...
but for the sake of page loading speed, I'll refrain.
EDIT: NO! you can never sell it back. You must keep it forever, before you forever regret your decision.
To MikeEnRegalia:
eventually, you WILL love Tago Mago (because I say so). As for Future Days, all I can say is give it time. I would say I don't know what went wrong with Landed, but I do know. Ever since they lost Damo Suzuki (read: Greatest Vocalist Ever), they started going downhill. Parts of Soon Over Babaluma and Landed are good... but Red Hot Indians... ... ...
Mikael Karoli (CAN guitarist) said it best when he said that Damo Suzuki could "capture the entire sound spectrum of CAN in a single word."

Tago Mago ... can't say I'm loving it, but it's not bad - quite good, actually. Certainly much better than Future Days ... or Landed, which I accidentally bought last year.

Even if it does contain MV collaboration... anything with Damo Suzuki must be amazing (with precedent in albums such as Future Days, Ege Bamyasi, and most importantly, TAGO MAGO!). |
Because we all know how much I loved Tago Mago
