Topic: The favorite studio album by Yes Posted: January 26 2006 at 22:29
being only 20, im not biast by who was an origional member, what the press had to say about the band, and the reseption that the bands of the 70s and 80s got at the time, so i judge best albums on my own interpretation of the music. Untill very recantly, I was the only yes fan I know. Ive always concidered 'Drama' there best album, as I love yes as a songwriting band. Albums like Fragile, Union, and going for the one is the kind of yews i like to hear. still 100percent prog, but strong songs with great hooks aswell. dont chastise me too much for this......

I don't see the point in resurrecting this thread after more than 12 months. You can tell what the most popular Yes album is by looking at the PA Top 100.

favorite..... easy.
The Yes Album. Obviously, probably not the best, but I will
never and have never got tired of listening to that album. Yours
Is No Disgrace will be played at my funeral hahahahha. That's the
song that got me hooked on Yes (and Chris Squire)
The Pedro and Micky Experience - When one no longer requires psychotropics to trip
what is so great about Union, i have never heard it
Aaron
To my opinion UNION is really very good album, especially the tracks with Howe on guitar. But there are two tracks I hardly stand with - Saving My Heart and Miracle Of Life - they destroys the "spirit" of this album...

'Fragile'
Just voted what first came to mind. I also adore 'Yes Album', 'CTTE', 'Relayer' and 'GFTO'. The album I dislike most is 'Open Your Eyes'.
'TFTO' never quite did it for me. It has some great moments, but also overlong boring parts which just seem to be there to stretch the songs to side-lenghth pieces just for the sake of it.
