I don't like to buy music online unless I absolutely can't find the album elsewhere. For me, half the fun is tracking down rare stuff and finally getting the thrill of seeing it in a record store.

Amazon UK's pretty cheap

I use Amazon sometimes, for easier-to-find stuff.  But I've been using CD Universe more lately, good service and usually better prices than Amazon, and a better selection too.  Also I've started using a seller like caimanzone.com through Amazon, which also has better prices and some harder-to-find stuff.

Not any more, unless it's for a cheap Tull or Marillion cd.

Not just music, but the odd bit of electronics too - I often find that things like cameras can be a good price.

Some of the more obscure CDs I've bought from Amazon recently have been very cheap;

£6.99 for "Definition" by Chrysalis and £4.85 for "An Electric Storm" by White Noise - both progger's essentials!

I use Amazon most of the time.  I recommend that you browse through their bargain cds every month because often they have some great classics marked down considerably.  For example, I got the remastered versions of Genesis' Nursery Cryme and Wind & Wuthering for under $8 each last month and that ain't bad.  I also find that if I choose the cheapest shipping I still get my order in 2-3 working days anyway.

I just came back from my favorite local record store, where I listened to the new Enslaved album. It cost 16.99 EUR in the store, so I didn't buy it. Instead I ordered it from an Amazon marketplace merchant for 12.33 including shipping.

Sorry to the employees of the record store, but I'm not that wealthy to ignore those 4.66 EUR!

Never, I've bought all of my music here in Finland.

I generaly use other cheaper online stores.
