Anyway, Tales Of Mystery And Imagination.... I love that album, I love that band.

I couldn't get into 'Tell-Tale Heart' with vocals by Arthur Brown at first, but once I got into his Crazy World I've enjoyed his performance and what a talented guy Arthur Brown is!

Did they ever produce any (longer) versions of the tracks? I just loved "Raven" and "Dr. & Prof." but they are too short. (like all Parsons - I just want MORE) Cry

I remember listening to Fall of the House of Usher in me bed. Near crapped me self

It is a great album though. I prefer the original mix to the one now available on CD.

My favorite song, though, even though "The Fall of the House of Usher" is
amazing, would be either "A Dream Within A Dream" or "The Cask of
Amontillado". All the songs are great, though, so I can't compare.

I did as well.. but I grew up with a Poe book in one hand (and the Foundation series in the other hahahha). If I had a third hand if would have been a F. Scott Fitzgerald novel. . This Side of Paradise ...

After reading The Fall of the House of Usher, and reading certain parts over
again, I started to get the Alan Parsons instrumental. As for the last song, I
could not understand why that was a Poe story. "The Fall of the House of
Usher" is not muddled prog, I don't think, I just think you have to
understand Poe to get it without any lyrics. Anyway, I understood it, for the
most part.

I love the first side (vinyl) but couldn't work out the second side at all . I'm not familiar with Poe's work. That last hippy track just didn't seem to fit the rest of the concept but even the music on the second side didn't seem anything special. Personally I think I enjoyed Eye in the Sky and Turn of a friendly Card the most. I rate good pop above muddled prog.

In the lap of the Gods is an awesome track.
