Latimer is my favourite of the two but both have pros and cons.

I cant vote for either...
They are both brilliant, but very different guitarists. I'm a far bigger Genesis fan than a Camel fan, but Latimer in full flight is perfect.

Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!

I'm shocked, I thought Latimer didn't benefit from popular opinion here. My votes goes to him.

Both. Sorry. I voted for Hackett because of his weir guitar sense.

Lattimer is more of a stand-out for me as a whole, but what Hackett does in Firth of Fifth is unparalelled.

It's nice to see a poll that hasn't been manipulated in any way and the best guitarist of the two winning

I love Latimer's Guitar work, and his flute work. Not to say that Hackett is bad, as far as classical goes Hackett is far, far better. Both very talented.

Agree, Rothery has many many moments that I love, Jigsaw was the first that really blew me away. I heard Fugazi before Script.

I think Rothery is deceptively technical, he just doesn't show it very
often. Take the sweep picking in the Easter solo for example.
Anyway, this was really close, they're both great but in the end my
vote went to Latimer. He is a far more consistant player than Hackett.
Hackett suffers from a bit to much modesty, he doesn't "let go" enough
and play his heart out like Latimer does on a number of occasions.
