Mickie yodeling with a choir ... and pretty much making this one of the most far out things this band ever did! Capability Brown -- Circumstances ... 21:05 from the Voice album Nektar -- A Tab In The Ocean 17:15 Nektar -- Remember the Future, Pts 1 and 2 16:38 and 18:55 respectively Ange - Caricatures 12:46 First Album Ange - Dignite (Il Est 21 H 50) 16:00 from the Tome VI live album. Esperanto - The Journey 10:13 Danse Macabre album Esperanto - The Rape 15:07 Last Tango album Hawkwind - You Shouldn't Do That 16:15 - In Search of Space album ... I better quit here, or I will never get done checking my LP's and CD's.

I think I went with: << Histoires sans mots >>, 'tramp's "Rudy," MO's "One Word," GG "His Last Voyage" and, I think, "Scheherazade" (but maybe "Nine Feet Underground" or "Inca Roads"). Edited by BrufordFreak - 21 hours 56 minutes ago at 06:25 |

Echoes, yeah, boring part of the majority here, and it is my first choice.
Otherwise, Childlike Faith in Childhood's End, Song of Scheherazade, The Grand Wazoo (just ahead of Inca Roads, didn't want to give Zappa two votes), Il Giardino Del Mago. I just see that by voting The Grand Wazoo, now everything has at least two votes.

^ Just some small talk based on an association I had made. My mind was not really on the task when I responded the first time -- distracted by other things, kind of sleepy too, which is why I even missed that you asked for us to choose five. I abbreviate it to BdMS, and tend to think of the Banco albums as the later albums released as Banco. I have seen others just say Banco for the whole shebang. No big deal. Had I thought about it at first, I later did, I would have remembered that that track was off the debut. BdMS is not band I have returned to much in many years and that epic was not a personal favourite off its album. Also maybe because it's under another initialised abbreviation, VdGG, my not-on-the-ball brain would have been more likely to expect the initialism of BdMS at the time. Speculating somewhat, as I don't quite recall my state of mind at the time.

No, I know how to behave in the restaurant now, I don't tear at the meat with my hands. If I've become a man of the world somehow, that's not necessarily to say I'm a worldly man.

Oops, I originally missed that it was five, but listed more anyway. So aside from "Echoes" which I already voted for, I vote for "Nine Feet Underground", "Pioneers Over C", "His Last Voyage", and "In the Cage". I could have gone with the Banco del Mutuo Soccorso track, love the debut, but seeing Banco, I think of Banco as a later incarnation of BdMS that I am not into and will stick with my original post's order. I do like GG's "Proclamation" too, but "His Last Voyage" is more special to me.

I went with the three at the top of the list Rush, Harmonium and Anglagard. Picking two more from the rest was too hard, so I just went with what I felt like listening to right now, and added Mahavishnu Orchestra and Pink Floyd.
