Almost the same for me. Both will end in my top 5 and probably in my top 3. Btw, I throw a bet that From Silence to Somewhere will be PA AotY 2017.

One of my favorite prog albums of the year. Will have to battle Wobbler for the top spot :)

I'd say Reverse Solarity's 6 first minutes on Heliotians top a little Oceanarium's best, but at least the two last pieces have great moments.
If you don't have the particular mindset for that kind you just don't, but I find those projects are part of an amazing adventure I can only give some support to !!

Sorry you feel that way, Noni. I did put up samples from every single song (totaling almost 40 minutes), you can actually hear the whole album on youtube or spotify anyway, and it is a pretty long album in the first place, so I hope you don't think I'm trying to rip anybody off.

Well it's now landed on my door and it's one heck of an album. I'm not sure how many plays I'm going to need to digest it but I will no doubt find out!

Well, it is a nine-course meal of a track to digest! But the cherry ice cream sundae on that album is A Squirrel, IMO. Edited by Mascodagama - October 31 2017 at 22:25 |

The samples delight me greatly - retaining a recognisably DG / Dan Britton vibe whilst adding a very healthy dose of kosmigroov / funky cinematic jazz sensibility. The results seem quite unique to me and I'm convinved the album is going to be killer.

AAW YEEEES!!!
I also discovered them kinda recently, about 4 years ago! And their musicality still continues to intrigue me. I feel that I still didn't digest that epic from August In The Urals, Inaugural Bash. VERY excited to listen to this. :)
