Mmm.. yes, good music and talented musicians.. I have this as a 'Picture disc' in my collection and I still think as cover art goes its pretty cheesy.. but seeing how things have progressed (or regressed..) since I originally posted it, maybe I was a bit hasty so my apologies for any offence caused [/QUOTE] Glad you posted this, would of never known this album existed. Great fan of Brand X.. Managed to get this album today!! Edited by noni - September 22 2017 at 20:08 |

It's about as corny as can be...but I kinda like it.

I thought this was common knowledge Simon but I guess you don't know your rock history
I also believe this was right before Manilow's stint in King Diamond. |

There is much about this one that is, frankly, inexplicable. To point out but three items: 1. The gentleman to the front of the grouping is wearing a furry animal glove puppet, possibly called 'Wolfy' and used in his children's ventriloquism act. 2. His colleague in orange trousers does not have a left nipple. 3. This album apparently dates from the period of Barry Manilow's brief tenure in the band, as he can be seen to the left of the image in a particularly unlikely wig. Local heroes from my hometown and a great band, but photogenic? I'm not so sure... The shinpads are legendary!
