"Just for Fun", you say?  The title alone brims with joy.  Wink

I'll give it a read.

I'd say the ideas in that article parallel my own philosophy fairly closely.

I know, I'm just enjoying the irony of a thread with death, dying and suffering in the thread title as appropriate for a "just for fun" section.Smile

This could have been appropriate for the "General Discussions (not related to music)" forum as well, I think.  Just for future reference.

Death is the natural order of things, so I do not fear it. I welcome my new transformation...whatever that may be.

Actually in the concept album, Metropolis pt 1: Scenes of a memory
The concept of death is looked at in a way where I believe it to be true.
Petrucci said it best.

"Death is not the end, but merely a transition."
Gimmie my headphones now!!! 🎧🤣

Thanks for sharing.

And to further quote Dream Theater: "Living comes much easier once we admit that we're dying."

What about Pink Floyd, but this one is about life

Long you live and high you'll fly and smiles you'll give and tears you'll cry and all you touch and all you see is all your life will ever be.
