I have not found the answer using the Search function.
The question is: should Zappa Plays Zappa releases be added to DWEEZIL ZAPPA discography (http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=7451) or it was planned to have a separate entry for this project? |

Technically it should be under VA: Tributes but I expect that's just going to confuse the dweebs so under Dweezil would make more sense.

What?

Thanks, Dean.
Will be added under Dweezil soon.

It should be under a Dweezil entry. I only have this one but VA wouldn't be a good fit. I don't know any other of his titles though. If he's only done this tribute and nothing else worthy then ok.

Interesting ... why would "Zappa plays Zappa" play their own, or Dweezil's original material? It has been just a tribute band all along.
However, to make ends meet better, and accept the reality, I probably would have combined his own band and dad's band ... into one and also do a lot of his material, so ZpZ has a future ... ohhh wait ... our local orchestras still play Beethoven and Mozart! But I know you and I do not go see it, even for free! Edited by moshkito - December 04 2012 at 08:20 |

Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!

Isn't it too complicated? I prefer to leave "Zappa plays Zappa" in Dweezil's discography.

Recently, Dweezil has been selling ZPZ CDs from his site, listing them as "Dweezil Zappa", not ZPZ.

Trust me. I know what I'm doing.
