Join the gagliarchives, at 10pm Eastern Daylight Time Saturday night for program 1213 as we premiere the new disc from Norwegian powerhouse Wobbler titled Rites At Dawn. We’ll also feature the new self titled CD from Herd Of Instinct which features recent guests and friends Markus Reuter, Gayle Ellett of Djam Karet along with Gavin Harrison, Pat Mastelotto, Jerry Marotta and so many others. We’ll also spotlight recent music from District 97, Agents Of Mercy and Blackfield as they make their way to our area this coming week.
We’ll also spotlight some recent reissues from the excellent Porter Records where we’ll track the music of Eero Koivistoinen’s recent reissue of the 1973 album 3rd Version, along with a 2 part spotlight on Philadelphia’s very own Catalyst, one of the great local jazz bands of all time. Our 4th Hour Space Out spotlights the heavy 1970 release just reissued on the Reactive label titled Armageddon. Lots of birthday salutes tonight and more surprises as well including a look at our new #1 CD in requests....Le Orme's La Via Della Seta.
