Hello to all you musicians in PA,

'Nickel and Dime' is a track I'm working on.
The intro is a long passage of bass and drums (with a light organ), and I'm looking for people who can make improvisations over it!
You will find the intro in question at this adress: http://soundcloud.com/fadisaliba/nickelanddime/s-5W0q7
It's downloadable. The track fades out and doesn't continue till the end, though the rest is already written and recorded Smile (suspense!)

What to do:
1. Listen to the track see if it inspires you
2. If yes, download it
3. Record your track/improvisation/layer on a separate file (not the mix), in wav format preferably.
4. Drop it in my Drop Box on Soundcloud with the prefix 'nickelanddime_' (or sthg similar)

You can also upload a mix you made with your track and/or with other collaborators' tracks. In this case, either do it on a different website, or send me a PM before uploading to the drop box (limited space...).
Also, if you want to upload a mix, please use the prefix "mix_nickelanddime_"...

I will make a mix of what I will collect in about a few weeks (if I have enough tracks/ if I don't have too many tracks before then...).

I will also gladly buy a beer to anyone in Paris (or passing by) who collaborates!

Go!

Damned, I'm a bassist! And I can't say I'm a good flautist or a good dulcimer player.

If you need vocals I can whip up some quick lyrics.

@CPicard: thank you for your interest, would still buy you a beer in Paris!
You know, a lot of ambient work can be done with a bass guitar and some wisely chosen effect pedals!

@ArcNatrix: open to all all suggestions! I can do some vocals myself so throw some lyrics if you're inspired!
And if a 'real' vocalist on PA wants to use those lyrics, they would be welcome of course
