Great news. I liked "Human Condition", but Saga just isn't Saga without Sadler. Looking forward to some new material. PS: Totally called it

to reunite with the old singer for some big 'comeback' album. ... |

It's indeed great to hear that Michael Sadler is back with Saga !!!
Anyway, still waiting for Marillion and Genesis to reunite with their original singer

Good to hear that Michael Sadler is back. I have to admit though that having heard most of Human Condition, I thought it was their best effort for years, in particular the title track. God luck to Rob in his future projects.

This is really good news. I have to agree with Mr. King By-Tor in that Human Condition was an enjoyable album, but Saga just isn't Saga without Sadler. Looking forward to a new album from them.

Let's hope Saga will remember that bringing back the old singer may rekindle interest, but if they make a lousy recording with Sadler, it will be judged the same as if they made a lousy recording with his replacement.
That is why I would not be enthralled if Fish got back with Marillion because apparently he has ruined his voice.
That is why I stopped listening to Kansas a while back because Steve Walsh's voice was no longer making the grade.

why would such a thing happen? Some people just can't let go. Fish left in 1988, do the math. What would be the point? To destroy the chemistry of the actual line up that worked great for 22 years?

Reason, money, because some people just can't let go. They suddenly stopped listened to Marillion when Fish left not giving the new singer a chance. Sort of like stopping listening to Genesis when Gabriel left, thereby ignoring there brilliant albums with Collins singings

I'm sorry, but am the only person who is disappointed in this?
Look, I have great respect for Michael Sadler; he's an amazing singer and songwriter, and I love his work in Saga, and solo.
But when you make a hard decision to say goodbye after 30 years, isn't Goodbye supposed to be Goodbye? He and the band made a big deal about their farewell album and tour in 2007, and it was a great send-off with 10,000 Days and the Contact live album/DVD. For all intents and purposes, I had expected the entire band to call it quits. Go out on a high and 30 years of incredible recordings.
But no...They had to continue to milk the machine, and bring in a new singer. They made the "Marillion mistake", but far, far into their career.
I am of the philosophy that when a band gets a new singer (after one who is closely associated with the sound and image of the band)...they should change the name of the group, out of respect for the original group legacy.
So okay...I grudgingly accepted Rob Moratti as the singer. The Human Condition was a good album. And even though I thought Rob's vocals sucked, at least he added a new vitality to the group after they had been going through the motions for the past 10+ years.
But now Sadler is back? After just 3 years? Not only are they dragging out the band far longer than they need to, but my emotions feel cheated after accepting Michael's leaving...getting used to the new singer...and now Michael coming back.
When you love Saga as much as I do, I feel a bit cheapened and my emotions manipulated back and forth by all the sudden change. None of which is anything musically exciting.
Btw - For all the people wanting Portnoy to go back to Dream Theater...get a life. Portnoy is no Peart.
