It scares me. It means he'd take Poison and Cindi Lauper over Pain of Salvation and Devin Townsend. Or Winger and Whitesnake over Ayreon and Ween.
Hey, what if a group of musicians wrote 12 songs in 1985, but were only able to release them in 1991, what would they fall under?

1) He would be perfectly right. 2) There's a trickier problem: songs recorded in 1989, but released in 1990
