Neil Campbell's gothic progressive rock concept piece 'Frankenstein' (based on the Mary Shelley novel) is a one hour piece of music to be broadcast on BBC Radio Merseyside - http://news.bbc.co.uk/local/liverpool/hi/tv_and_radio/ at 7pm (GMT) on Saturday 26th June 2010. The piece features The Neil Campbell Collective (Neil Campbell - guitar, Anne Taft - soprano, Vicky Mutch - cello, Chris Bradshaw - keyboards, Andy Maslivec - bass and Mark Brocklesby - drums), Sense of Sound Choir (led by Perri Alleyne-Hughes) and narrator Gary Mavers. The piece explores the dramatic Frankenstein story through a series of movements for choir and ensemble. The piece was first performed in October 2009 at Liverpool's St George's Hall Concert Room. Further performances will be organised for Autumn 2010...
