alright,...i realize people must be getting annoyed with my obvious obsession with bands like dillinger,..but these bands hardcore prog bands,...really should have a place on this forum bands like
the end
dillinger espcae plan
alarum
bosh
etc etc etc...
are going to paly a major role in the direction of prog in the next couple of years, this genre has been neglected by every possible kind of other genre,..but they feature some of the best musicians and abilities ive ever heard...the vocals take some time to get used to,

please, listen to them(a few times) youll understand
if your a fantomas, fan etc.

for those of you who do like them(if there is any) do you not think they should be included in this forum, a whole new prog sub genre..how exciting

^^^^^^^^^^so true....wehat a pity
obvioslty you have never really listened to them.
first, if you had, even if you dont like them, you couldnt deny thier musicianship. IM not going to say anymore...but this site is about broadening your musical knowledge and being introduced to bands that you would not have listened to...These bands obviosly have talent, well because, first off i wouldnt be listening to them, ...i bet its the same people bashing Dillinger that are saying that nothing new has been done in music in the past 10yrs...Even if you dont like them do you still think they should be included in this archive? they have taken progressive to a new level. Remeber whan you were a kid listening to music that you knew was absoluelty amazing yet, anyone 5 yrs older than you would tell you to turn it off??? you felt like they were locking themselves out of something amazing...same thing rite now...give it a chance (with open ears) and you will not be disappointed
fall of troy..ill have to check it out

nicely said. i agree that people dont give them much of a chance, and i no that a lot will even do so and still not like them, but it doesnt go to deny that they dont belong in the archive (or at least in the future) because they, i believe, are the future of prog.even if they arent, they are genre defining to say the least.
