Very few people only listen to one genre of music.  Outside of prog who are your top 5 bands/artists.  I'd be really interested to see how much diversity or common ground there is in the tastes of Prog enthusiasts.

Here's my list.

1. Van Morrison
2. Tom Waits
3. Kate Rusby
4. Miles Davis
5. Lamchop
Haiku

2) David Allan Coe
3) Devourment
4) Gorguts (albeit very technical death metal...more so than a lot of 'prog-metal')
5) Atrium Carceri

According to my Last.fm profile they seem to be:

1. Metallica
2. R.E.M.
3. Neil Young
4. AC/DC
5. The National

A more truthful list could be for example:

1. Metallica
2. Iron Maiden
3. Green Day
4. System of a Down
5. Michael Jackson

I accepted prog related, but kept others away.
