Usually during an artists creative peak they tend to obtain great amounts of facial hair.First I thought it was coincidence but personally I think it's the brains behind the whole operation.Such musicians include Brian Wilson,Jimmy Page/Led Zeppelin,Pete Townshend,Phil Collins etc

Who's got the best beard in Prog?

Mine has to be

Zappa facial hair dominates all, even if there isn't much beard to it

Here are a few other great ones:
Francesco Di Giacomo
Ian Anderson
Robert Wyatt

Time always wins.

Nobody's feeble facial hair can match the sheer awesomeness of Leland Sklar's:

I was going to post the feeble beard of Jordan Rudess. Unfortunately I am too stunned/overwhelmed by this beard grown from the hair of the gods.

You are quite a fine person, and I am very fond of you. But you are only quite a little fellow, in a wide world, after all.
