....but there's a band called "substance," which is a metal band, that currently ranks ahead of us in the Reverb Nation local Rock polls.

Personally, I've heard them before and I honestly dont think they're anything special.

What I'm asking is simple:

Blue Vino is a prog rock band.  We are trying our damnedest to bring back a prog rock opening to the large circuit.

A big help to us, not to mention the prog rock genre in general, would be to go to our site, and click the following:

Become a Fan:  fill in your e-mail address

Play songs:  play any/ all of our songs....seriously, play all of the songs on there.  It helps a lot

Join the Street team:  even if you dont live near us, you can join the street team and help us distribute our music....you can grab widgets of distributors and get people to hear us.........................

THE LONG AND SHORT OF ALL OF THIS:
If you like prog rock, and if you like new prog rock, plesae lend your assistance:
For god sake, there's a cheesy metal band ahead of us in the local polls!!!!
A METAL BAND!!!  THEY'RE CALLED SUBSTANCE AND THE PREVIOUS SINGER WAS SO HORRIBLE THAT HE WAS REPLACED!!!!  WE PERFORMED A SHOW WITH THEM WHERE ONLY THE RELATIVES OF THE BAND MEMBERS SHOWED UP!!!!

SO IF YOU LIKE PROG ROCK, PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO JUST ADD YOUSELF TO OUR MAILING LIST, AND IF YOU DONT HAVE TIME TO DO THAT, JUST LISTEN TO OUR SONGS A FEW TIMES.  JUST LISTEN TO 4-5 DIFFERENT ONES.  IF YOU LIKE THEM, THEN LET PEOPLE KNOW TO DO THE SAME.  PLEASE PASS ON THE INFORMATION.

IT WILL REALLY HELP THE LAS VEGAS PROG ROCK SCENE.  YOU HONESTLY HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH IT WILL HELP.  PLEASE JUST DO IT.  Cry

And thank God for that. While I do support the initiative to promote a progressive rock band I donīt see why you need to bash another band in the process. I find it distasteful to say the least.

Umm, I think its just about exposure.  I didn't see anything on their site about a poll or whatever you're talking about.
