What are the best in your music experience what are the best drumset mics to go with your pro tools software? If your looking for that nice crisp STUDIO recording sound.

Good question. I've heard good things about Sure. Of course. that's just the popular choice currently; it means nothing about their quality.

Well These drum mics called DR-DRM7 drum mics are supposedly really great except for the bass drum mic. So you would have to get a new bass drum mic. And its cheap 100 dollars at guitar center for 7 mics they look good and they have got some good reviews.

DR-DRM7 includes
-Contains 1 custom cardioid dynamic kick/tom mic. 4 snare/tom mics and 2 small-diaphragm condenser overhead mics.
-Durable all-metal construction.
-Freq. resp. - 100Hz-12kHz (snare/tom mics), 60Hz-12kHz (kick/tom mic)
-Also includes snare/tom mic mounts, 2 mic clips, and a durable carrying case

Yeah . . . I'm completely ignorant on micing up instruments, unfortunately. I need to figure it out, though, lol.
